After trying and dismissing about a dozen financial apps over the years, I can honestly say it is refreshing to find an app that does what it promises. Who needs a financial advisor?
Basil is by far the best money management software for those who are not accounting professionals. It reminds me of the simple envelope budget system, but better. I mean, Dave has a whole book and app about this and I'm telling you- this is so good I'm sharing it with all my friends.

My main problem with most finance trackers is that I get hyped to use them for a while until I forget to record one transaction, then another, and then I quit after a while. When I saw Basil, I thought I'd give it another try.
